Abstract
The image of Israel is created based on pre-determined agendas and meticulously crafted narratives caused by Hasbara and the Israeli Ministry of Propaganda. These organizations target Palestinian and Arab audiences to portray Israel as a ‘humanitarian’ and ‘peace-loving’ nation that is ‘pro-Arab’; while masking the truth that Israel is an occupying power. Moreover, these organizations focus on the so-called sacrifices and efforts of Israel in pursuit of peace.
The study highlights seven contents of Israeli propaganda. From this, Israeli spokespersons, Israeli media units, Al-Munaseq’s page, and Avichay Adraee underwent specialized training. These contents include: giving exaggerated attention to the operational role of the Israeli Army and boasting over its commanders. Exhibiting human empathy for Arabs and Palestinians. Reshape the image of Israel in the Arab and Palestinian psyche -mentality. Distinction between Hamas and other Palestinians groups and portray the latter as Iranian allies who are antagonistic towards peace. Discussing the Jews nation in which they invite the existence of Palestinians as neighbors. For urging for Arabs and Palestinians normalization, they advance the need for peaceful coexistence economically for the Palestinians and propose that resistance should be ceased. Developing and enforcing control, surveillance and censorship of Palestinian media and digital media content and narratives.
The prior contents are published in the Arabic language to ensure covering the majority of Arabic, Palestinians, and Middle easterners' speakers. This helps Israel achieve the normalizing projects’ goals while Israel, in return, disregards the Palestinian cause and suffers. Moreover, using Arabic language serves the purpose of controlling the Palestinian-Israeli and Arab-Israeli security relations, as well as the Israeli-Middle Eastern relations. In addition to other social, economic, and international issues that are to Israel’s agenda trade.
