This study aimed to explain the methods of processing the Palestinian feature film” 200 meters ” to the issue of the apartheid wall, using sub-objectives highlighting political, social and psychological issues and topics in addition to the characters and cinematic elements, to identify the form of processing carried out by the film in an integrated manner.
Given the nature of this study, which aimed to find out how the 200-meter film dealt with the issue of the apartheid wall, the researcher adopted the most appropriate approach to studying this type of phenomena, which is the analytical approach.
The results of the study found that the film presented a set of social, economic and psychological issues and topics, the most relied on by the film in the first place are emotional appeals (42.8%), the natural lighting used in the film topped the first place (72.2%), issues related to employment opportunities came in first place (32.2%), while issues related to freedom of movement came in second place (28.8%), then issues related to the psychological state came in third place (25.4%).
The researcher recommended the need to conduct more media studies that objectively and realistically present the details of the apartheid wall and document the violations of the occupation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
