Brief

The Middle East Journal of Communication Studies (MEJCS) is a new, biannual journal with a focus on communication studies and the MENA region. We welcome highly-quality original articles that draw upon a variety of disciplines to explore issues related to methodological and theoretical developments in the field. Both English and Arabic articles are welcome, but preference will be given to contributions in English.  Original articles should be between 6000-9000 words, including abstract, references and footnotes. MEJCS uses the Chicago Manual of Style. All submissions are double-blind peer- reviewed by independent, anonymous expert referees.

Journal Objectives:

  • Publishing refereed scientific research in the field of communication.
  • Meeting the needs of researchers and science students locally, regionally and globally in the field of communication sciences.
  • Enriching local, Arab and international libraries with distinguished and discreet research.

Aims and Scope:

The Middle East Journal of Communication Sciences is a refereed scientific journal specialized in cultural studies in the field of media, and all communications sciences in its various fields.

Open Access Policy:

MEJCS requires no submission or publication fees. MEJCS provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
