The study aimed to identify the extent to which the Jordanian public follows climate change through the podcast “Climate, What’s Its Story?” and the reasons for this follow-up, in addition to revealing the extent of their confidence in the information presented about climate change in the podcast “Climate, What’s Its Story?” and the reasons for this confidence. It also aimed to identify the level of awareness of the Jordanian public about climate change after listening to the studied podcast, in addition to measuring the extent of the Jordanian public’s interaction with the information presented in it, the forms of this interaction, and the resulting effects by using the media audience survey method applied to a sample of (400) individuals from the Jordanian public who follow climate change through the podcast “Climate, What’s Its Story?” The study found that (60%) of the Jordanian audience in the study sample follow the podcast “Climate, What’s Its Story?” to a large extent, where the reasons for following were “enjoying the ability to listen to the podcast at any time.” The study also showed that (60%) of the Jordanian audience trust the information provided in the podcast “Climate, What’s Its Story?” about climate change due to “adding visual content (videos + photos) to the podcast,” while (60%) interact with the audio content provided in the podcast “Climate, What’s Its Story?” to a small extent, where the most prominent forms of this interaction were “searching for more information about climate change.” The most prominent cognitive effects achieved by the Jordanian audience as a result of following the podcast “Climate, What’s Its Story?” For information on climate change in “I learned from the podcast about the impact of climate change on the local and global economy,” emotional effects in “I feel more optimistic that we can address climate change if we work together,” and behavioral effects in “I participate in local environmental initiatives after listening to the podcast.”
